I happened to visit just as a church service began so I sat quietly in the back of the Cathedral while the service commenced. We took the underground subway right to the entrance of the Cathedral. It was about 300 steps up the bell tower and then another 300 down but well worth the view of the city if you are in good health and can climb the steps.
